The workflow functionality will control the versions of these network elements, so that a user can create a planned area for the future network, while a live area of the network for use by other operational engineers will still be retained.

The version management is built into the workflow process and handled automatically, so that on completion of the project the live network data is updated and the integrity of the system remains accurate.
