Effecto is a totally integrated Reporting tool that enables the generation of ad-hoc queries, operational, management and strategic reporting across all functional areas within the Mobilis product suite.
Effecto
provides a seamless reporting interface that presents users with a single point
of access to all information captured within any product of the Mobilis
application suite, as well as the Mobilis database. It also allows reporting
against other ‘external’ information sources e.g. other application databases.
This provides flexibility, as the user is not required to change focus from the Mobilis application suite, to a separate reporting product to fulfil reporting and information needs.
Effecto Information Pyramid

The diagram above represents the typical information needs of a business which has implemented products from the Mobilis application suite. Effecto provides the client with a solution to their information needs in the areas of operational information, management information and strategic information derived from the data captured by any of the products within the Mobilis software family.
These three areas of information are used to answer key business questions.
Examples are:
Operational Information
Site Access Information
Site Equipment
Site Configuration
Stock Lists
Staff Task Lists
Management Information
Performance monitoring on issues such as:
Site build progress
Network rollout progress
Use of resources
Strategic Information
Strategic planning, forecasting and analysis of Key Performance Indicators i.e.:
Costs- identifying and reducing costs
Time - identifying major time consumers and reducing
Quality - identifying areas of poor quality to be improved
Resource - identifying resource shortages and planning future resources
SLA - ensuring that service level agreements are monitored and achieved
With the majority of business applications, information requirements are met using a separate reporting application. The benefit of Effecto is that it is accessible directly from the Mobilis software.
This is achieved by two main modes of functionality:
Module specific reporting and
Menu driven reporting
Module Specific Reporting
The user is able to select existing reports from a central repository using a
simple menu. The menu of reports is restricted to reports that are related to
the module of the Mobilis software that the user is active within.
For example, if the user is active within the Sites Management module (Teneo) then the menu will only display existing site related reports. When a report is selected from the menu it can be refreshed, saved and printed.
Menu Driven Reporting
The user will use the standard Mobilis software menu to:
Access previously saved reports from a central repository which can be refreshed, saved, printed and distributed
Create new ad hoc queries/reports using, business orientated views of the Mobilis software database that can be saved locally or to a central repository
