March 2006 - CONSISTEL, leader in the provision of turnkey solutions to the world’s wireless providers, has been awarded a contract to deploy In-building solutions from Warid Telecom (Pvt) Ltd., a leading communications company in Pakistan.

Consistel will exclusively deploy and maintain comprehensive indoor coverage solution as well as its patented lift coverage solution for 200 buildings in Pakistan. After completion, Warid customers will benefit from a high quality, uniform and uninterrupted access to Warid networks within these buildings.

The award covers 2 phases - site survey, design, supply, installation, commissioning, optimization and testing. Site surveying have already started and it is anticipated more than 100 buildings will be completed nationwide in first phase. And, installation and commissioning is scheduled for another 100 buildings to be covered in phase Two.
