Singapore - Consistel announced its successful completion of 120 outdoor micro sites (ODM) for a major telecommunication operator in Pakistan. The scope of the project entailed acquisition of the site/building and implementation of civil, mechanical and electrical system. Though this was a new type of project for our customer, Consistel was able to overcome all hurdles and fully complete the project within a short time frame of 6 months.

This new project required much effort to coordinate customer departments and government authorities to ensure a smooth and speedy rollout. The demanding schedule required Consistel to build up resources in double quick time and the organization structure comprised a large project group of diverse skills ranging from technical expertise to lease negotiation.

The successful implementation of this micro sites project meant that coverage could be provided at the congested streets, bazaar areas and narrow walkways, which macro sites were unable to provide coverage for. This project would help our client captured the blue-collar users, in the process expanding its subscriber base and increasing sources of revenue.”
