Component Library Data Entry Analyst

Responsibilities:

• The role is responsible of entering telecom component and equipment data for components such as mobile base stations, antennas, splitters and cables into a database

• Analyze component and equipment data sheets data to determine compliance with given structure and address need of change (structure or other)

• Search (from the web or by other terms) and collect data sheets, and analyze the accuracy and completeness of component and equipment data in data sheets

• Compile and verify the accuracy of data before it is entered in collaboration with business analysts when/if required

• Locate and correct data entry errors, or report them to supervisors

• Maintain logs of activities and completed work

• Work with database import tools, data format conversion

• Perform quality audit and acceptance testing with sub-contractors and customers

• Customer interfacing for design approval

• Attend customer meetings and produce reports

• Responsible for project delivery to customer with good quality of service, values and satisfaction

Requirements:

• Degree / Diploma or equivalent with at least 3 - 6 years experience in Telco industry

• Strong track record for in-building coverage projects with regional experience in Asia is a plus

• Strong and well-versed knowledge in the following is a must:
  - Wireless telecommunications technology (e.g. GSM / GPRS networks, CDMA, WCDMA, etc.)
  - RF knowledge
  - Handling of test equipments (e.g. network analyzer, power meter, etc.)
  - Windows based as well as UNIX based radio planning tools

• Ease in dealing with all levels of people - e.g. Senior Managers, Sub-contractors and Engineers
