Matt Ranawake

As Chief Financial Officer, Matt Ranawake is responsible for all finance activities related to accounting, financial planning, taxation, treasury, auditing and investor relations.

Matt has over 20 years of experience in the telecommunications industry in Asia Pacific, Australia, India and China, combined with a strong background in Information Systems, Sales, Strategy and Business Development, acquired across a number of industries.

Prior to joining CONSISTEL, Matt was the Chief Financial Officer of LongReach Group Limited, a ASX listed Australian telecommunications equipment manufacturer and vendor, where he developed and implemented a divestment strategy and successfully managed its merger. Prior to that, he was Vice-President, Strategy and Business Development for Marconi Asia-Pacific, responsible for strategy development, business restructuring and divestments management in the Asia-Pacific region.  He has held senior management positions in Telstra and British Telecom.  Matt also has many years of experience in gas, electric and petroleum industries.

Matt has a bachelor of business degree from NSWIT (University of Technology, Sydney) and a master of business administration from Macquarie Graduate School of Management, Sydney.  He is a CPA.
