Masoud Bassiri


Masoud Bassiri serves as the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of CONSISTEL, the wireless solutions provider and system integrator for the wireless telecommunications industry. He is also the Chairman of the Board of CONSISTEL.

By making all related key decisions for CONSISTEL, Masoud steers the Company's corporate strategy including business development, strategic partnerships and increasing shareholders’ value.

Masoud’s first step into the telecommunications industry began in 1989 with his time in Motorola Inc. and Nortel Networks where he had gained his valuable experience in the Telecommunications market. During his time in Motorola and Nortel, Masoud steered operations and engineering services to deliver over 20 cellular networks to the network operators throughout Asia.

In 1996, sensing the growth potential in Asia, Masoud established CONSISTEL’s (formerly MSI, Metapath Software International) first presence in Singapore. Under Masoud’s leadership, CONSISTEL has not only built an international presence spanning more than 12 countries but it has also continued to expand its products and solutions offerings thus generating upward growth in its revenue. Throughout his career, Masoud has both invented and participated in the creation of new and innovative wireless solutions some of which have been patented or are currently the subjects of applications for patent registration.

Masoud graduated from Purdue University in West Lafayette, Indiana where he graduated with Masters & Bachelor of Science degrees in Electrical Engineering.  He holds executive directorship in Singapore for CONSISTEL and he is a Fellow of IEEE, KPN, HKN and the American Chamber of Commerce.
