Bernard Chan


As Group Managing Director and Co-Founder, Bernard Chan manages the global business units of Consistel. Apart from regular Sales and Operational responsibilities, he also works on new partnerships, business lines and M & A activities that are key components for Consistel's vision and progress.

Bernard is a proven results-driven leader with an impressive record of fast-paced promotions involving increasing responsibilities. He has held positions of Projects Director and Country Manager, and from a regional to a global role.

Bernard’s depth of global business expertise in the Infocomm industry is vital to his contribution to Consistel’s success.  His wide exposure includes sales and operations of both wired and wireless solutions in private and public networks, and consultancy services in network planning. 

Prior to joining Consistel, Bernard was the Vice President of Global Sales in smartBridges (Singapore) specializing in WiFi products and solutions. He was a key player in establishing strategic partnerships worldwide for smartBridges and increasing the company’s global footprint. His successes include the acquisition of new Telcos and Enterprise accounts in Indonesia, Italy, Sri Lanka, India and Latin American countries as well as the establishment of partnerships and channel distributors in North America, Europe, Middle East and Asia Pacific.
